Snowed In

We are having a great time in the mountains of North Carolina playing in the snow! Martin says we are the only "fools" up on this mountain.   Maybe we can make it home by March!
We have seen no other form of civilation, except for some raccoon tracks.

Cooper Gray has played in the cabin and watched it snow.  Since he is not yet walking, crawling in 12 inches of snow has not worked out for him!
Don't worry Coopie, soon you will be running with the big dogs, until then just hang out on the porch and watch it snow.

He has taken extra long naps since we arrived in the mountains.  Must be the mountain air.  Maybe we can take some back home...

Seaver has been having fun fun fun in the snow!

Seaver went on a bear hunt and Daddy went hunting for dinner.  Well, we ate brats for dinner.  Not sure what kind of animal they caught up in those mountains, but dinner was tasty.
Making snow angels seems to be a favorite too!  I have found Daddy and Seaver down in the snow, more than once...
Watching my boys play and have fun was making me warm and fuzzy all over, then I felt something cold and wet...  Snowball Fight!
Do you really think you can hit me from that far?  What, you think you used to play baseball?  Honey, the arm ain't what it used to be.  But you still look hot!

As you can see we are having a great time!  Our agenda for the long weekend has been play in the snow, eat, rest.  Repeat, repeat, repeat...
Seaver has explained that he gets "the best rest" in the bunk room!  He loves the bunkbeds!

Thanks to our wonderful neighbors for letting us use their wonderful cabin!
Gotta go!  The snow plow truck is coming up the mountain!  Maybe we can get home before March!  If not, I am sure my boys can go hunting for more food...  maybe spaghetti.
